On March 20, 2013, the US Patent & Trademark Office approved and published Google's latest registered trademark for "Google Currents" under registration number 4,304,082. Google originally filed for their trademark a year ago in March 2012. Google Currents is a social magazine app released by Google in December 2011. It is currently available for Android and iOS devices running IOS 6. The application covers a variety of sources and offers a list of featured content that includes Forbes, CNET and others.
