Patently Apple is proud to introduce our latest spinoff called Patent Bolt. Two and half years ago we began Patently Apple, a blog dedicated to following Apple's latest Intellectual Property News. Today, we begin a new chapter with Patent Bolt: a blog primarily focused on reporting about exciting new inventions from some of the leading players in the PC and mobile industry such as Microsoft, Google, Samsung, Sony and others.
All of Patent Bolt's reports are primarily based on information obtained by the US Patent and Trademark Office and we make every effort to shy away from over speculating. Unlike our Patently Apple blog that is dedicated to a fixed schedule, Patent Bolt will not follow suit. Our goal for Patent Bolt is to report on the best mix of patent applications every week based on those we decide to cover. Being that this is a new spinoff blog, there's a lot of room for changing which companies we cover at any given time, so stay tuned.
Patent Bolt is an exciting new addition to our site that will meet the needs of many communities looking for better IP news on the coming inventions that could change our world.
